Controversial self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has apologised to Nigerians for making careless remarks about other people’s pain and personal struggles.
She made the apology in a lengthy Instagram post on Tuesday, shortly after her partner, IVD, publicly sought forgiveness from his business partners, family members and friends.
Blessing CEO Expresses Regret Over Past Comments
In her post, Blessing CEO admitted that she had spoken insensitively about experiences she had never personally endured. She described her current struggles as a painful lesson and said she was beginning to understand the impact of her past words.
She wrote: “I am realising that talk is cheap but action is loud. I'm only human, with blood flowing through my veins, so I'm bound to make mistakes.”
She further expressed regret, saying her mistakes had come at a painful cost.
“I am sorry, I am so so sorry, for speaking about the pains I have never felt carelessly. So I will say this over and over again, I am sorry to everyone I have hurt with words and actions, now I can feel every bit of your pain that I once mocked,” she wrote.
Blessing also appealed to Nigerians to pray for her, saying she felt emotionally exhausted and was struggling with her present circumstances.
Previous Controversy Involving IVD’s Late Wife
DAILY POST reports that Blessing CEO previously faced criticism over comments about IVD’s late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna. She was accused of mocking the deceased after making remarks suggesting that Bimbo was responsible for the tragedy surrounding her marriage.
Following the public disclosure of her relationship with IVD, an old video also resurfaced in which Blessing made a controversial statement about what she would do if another woman attempted to take her partner.
Her latest apology comes amid renewed public attention to her past remarks and the personal difficulties she says she is currently experiencing.
