Rangers Unveil Nominees for October Goal of the Month Award

Nigerian champions Rangers International have unveiled the nominees for their October Goal of the Month award, with midfielders Chidiebere Nwobodo and winger Emo James making the shortlist.

The club announced the nominations following two impressive goals recorded in domestic and continental competitions.

Nwobodo, James Earn Nominations

Nwobodo earned his nomination for his late strike in Rangers' 2-2 draw against Barau FC at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano on October 11.

The midfielder fired home from the edge of the penalty area to rescue a point for Rangers after the visitors faced a difficult contest.

James was nominated for his impressive goal in Rangers' CAF Champions League second preliminary round first-leg encounter against Algerian side MC Alger.

The winger made a forward run from Rangers' half into the opposition's penalty area before finishing with a strike into the net.

Fans to Decide Winner

Rangers have invited supporters to vote for their preferred goal through the club's official X account.

The winning goal will be recognised as the club's best strike for October.
