Get Visibility at Flavours of Nigeria Festival 2026 with VYPA

The booths may be sold out, but there’s still room for your brand to be seen.

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, thousands of people will gather at Gage Park, Brampton for Flavours of Nigeria Festival 3.0, running from 12 noon to 9pm.

VYPA is partnering with the festival organizers to give businesses another way to get noticed: a 16ft × 10ft full-motion LED screen powered by VYPA, positioned at the heart of the event.

Only 20 advertising slots are available at $150 per slot, with each 15-second advert playing on rotation throughout the day.

Your Ad. On the Big Screen.

The screen will be visible to festival-goers across the event, from the stage and food queues to families and social media creators capturing the experience.

If your business serves the Nigerian and African-Caribbean community in the GTA, this is an opportunity to put your brand directly in front of a relevant audience.

And the best part?

You can push your advert to the screen directly from your phone through VYPA Advertise.

How to Book Your Slot

You can either:

A. Contact VYPA at +1 289 556 3381

B. Visit advertise.vypa.co and create your campaign.

Simply create an account, select Campaigns → New Campaign, choose the African Caribbean community and Events venue type, select the Flavours of Nigeria Festival screen on the map, upload your 15-second advert, and submit your campaign for payment.

Recommended format: Landscape, 1920 × 1080

Maximum file size: 200 MB

Maximum advert length: 15 seconds

What to Put in a Fifteen-Second Festival Advert

Fifteen seconds sounds short. On a large LED screen in an outdoor environment, it is more than enough, provided you do not waste it.

The single most common mistake is treating the slot like a television commercial. There is no sound, no seated audience, and no one watching from the beginning. People glance up mid-rotation, so your advert has to work from whatever second they happen to catch.

A structure that works reliably:

    • Seconds 1 to 3: who you are. Business name and what you do, large, in a single line. Someone who sees only this should still learn your name.
    • Seconds 4 to 10: one reason to care. A product shot, a price, an offer, a service. One idea, not five.
    • Seconds 11 to 15: how to find you. Instagram handle, phone number, or location. Keep it on screen long enough to be photographed, because that is what interested people will do.

Design for daylight. Outdoor LED at midday washes out subtle colours, so use high contrast and bold type. Avoid thin fonts, small text, and dark-on-dark. If it is not legible on your phone at arm's length, it will not be legible at forty feet.

The Technical Details

Format: Landscape, 1920 × 1080. Maximum file size: 200 MB. Maximum length: 15 seconds.

Both video and still images work. A well-designed still image often outperforms a poorly-shot video, so do not assume you need a videographer. A clean graphic made in Canva with your logo, one product photograph, and your contact details will do the job.

If you already run social media ads, you likely have assets close to what you need. The main adjustment is resizing from square or vertical to landscape, and enlarging the text.

Booking, Step by Step

The process runs entirely from your phone:

    • Go to advertise.vypa.co and create an account.
    • Select Campaigns → New Campaign.
    • Choose the African Caribbean community and the Events venue type.
    • Find the Flavours of Nigeria Festival screen on the map and select it.
    • Upload your 15-second advert.
    • Submit the campaign for payment.

If you would rather have someone walk you through it, call VYPA on +1 289 556 3381 and it can be arranged over the phone.

Who This Suits Best

Festival screen advertising works particularly well for businesses that are hard to discover through search: caterers, event planners, hair and beauty services, immigration and legal consultants, money transfer services, real estate agents, and food brands trying to get into households rather than onto shelves.

These are businesses where trust and community familiarity drive the decision more than a Google ranking does. Being seen at a community event, repeatedly, in front of exactly the people you serve, does work that online advertising struggles to replicate.

If You Have Never Advertised Before

Plenty of the businesses taking these slots have never bought advertising of any kind. That is not a disadvantage here, because the format removes most of what makes advertising intimidating.

There is no contract, no agency, no minimum term, and no ongoing spend. You buy one slot for one day, you see the result, and you decide whether to do it again.

If you are unsure about your creative, that is normal and fixable. Look at what you already have: a good photograph of your product, your logo, and your contact details are the three ingredients, and most businesses already own all three.
